Under the Sun Events is pleased to manage this event for the Chico Running Club. Please join us for the Annual Almond Bowl 5K, Half Marathon & Marathon. A portion of the proceeds benefit the cross-country teams for our local high schools.

If you miss the November 3 online registration deadline, to assure your spot in the Almond Bowl please drop by Fleet Feet Sports (location above) to pick up an entry form and bring it with you to packet pickup on Saturday, November 5th between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Race Check-in

Packets available prior to race between 6:30 and 7:45 a.m. You must be registered to pick up your packet as there is no race-day registration.

Race Start Times

5K – 8:00 a.m.
1/2 Marathon & Marathon – 8:15 a.m.

Finish Line

Chip timing will be provided by Capital Road Race Management. The finish line will close at 2:15 p.m. Anyone finishing after that time will not be guaranteed an official time.

Course Description

All events start at One Mile Recreation Area in lower Bidwell Park, Chico. The 5K loop course is flat, paved, and free of traffic. The Half Marathon and Marathon courses are a mixture of road and off-road in lower and upper Bidwell Park.
