The Yuba City Education Foundation helps kids overcome barriers to learning through providing college scholarships, mini-grants for teachers, and a problem solving fund.

Location and Start Time
The Have a Heart for Kids 5K is Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 9 am. The start and finish lines are on the track at River Valley High School, 801 El Margarita Road Yuba City, CA 95993. Race Day packet pickup and registration will begin at 7:30 am and close promptly at 8:45 am.

T-Shirts
Entry fee includes an adult-sized unisex short-sleeve t-shirt. Available sizes range from XS-3XL and are guaranteed for registrations received by February 16, 2013
****Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Event is Rain or Shine.
Packet Pickup
Early packet pick-up Friday, February 22 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., River Valley High School Auxiliary Gym at 801 El Margarita Road Yuba City, CA 95993.
Race Check-in
Race-day packet pickup and registration will be open at 7:30 am and will close promptly at 8:45 am.

5K starts at 9:00 am

Chip Timing
Under the Sun Events will be providing chip timing. There will be a small white foam strip on the back of your race bib. Please do not remove it; below it is the actual timing chip. Please wear your bib on the front of your shirt at waist height and be sure it is visible as you cross the start and finish lines. Most importantly, don’t forget your bib! No bib, no time!

Farm Fresh To You is interested in participating as a vendor in the Have a Heart for Kids 5K taking place on February 23rd. Please let us know if you are accepting applications at this time.
Our representative will bring a beautiful display of Farm Fresh To You organic produce, have lots of information about healthy eating, sustainable agriculture and our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program of connecting the community directly to the farm by delivering high quality, organic produce fresh from the farm to the doorstep. We will not be selling or sampling; however, attendees who wish to join the service will receive a discount on their first delivery.
