Trail Less Traveled 14-Mile Course Map now Available!
The second half (miles ~ 7-14) of the Trail Less Traveled 14-Mile course has been solidified, mile markers estimated and water stations strategically placed. We had the pleasure of spending a cloudy Sunday morning in the hills above Lake Oroville traveling almost 8 miles worth of oak studded, wildflower covered trails without seeing another soul!

Those brave enough to tackle the new 14-Mile trail course will cover the familiar 1/4 Marathon course first. Here is the map in case it’s not so familiar:
Here’s the part you’ve been waiting for! When runners return to the finish line area they will be swept down a side trail to your left that will lead you to Saddle Dam. The flat gravel covered dam will give your legs a rest before you head up the Loafer Creek Loop. Here is an old school map with notes on aid stations for all 14 glorious miles of Trail Less Traveled.
